CORENCHI's first Participatory Video workshop took place in a festive atmosphere. Using a new medium to express themselves, the video camera allowed participants to share thoughts on their lives in relation to the forest and other natural resources in the community. The workshop also served as an opportunity for representatives from six communities of the Chinantla Alta to familiarize themselves with the camera and the basic tools of video.

El primer taller de Video Participativo para la CORENCHI se desarrolló en un ambiente de fiesta. La herramienta de video permitió a los participantes expresarse, a través de un medio diferente, acerca de su vida y de su relación con el bosque y otros recursos naturales de la comunidad. El taller también dió la oportunidad para que representantes de seis comunidades de la Chinantla Alta se familiarizaran con la cámara y con herramientas básicas de video.
